Ladybug

Ladybug, ladybug

Hello everyone. What a busy week. Went to work early and worked late so I could enjoy the weekend with Mark before another business trip takes me back to SC. Tomorrow's a big day! We got a date to the Spurs Game 1 against the Suns. Should be a nasty one since they are still sore about losing last year. :)

The latest count on our tomatoes in the tub: 25! Mark and I check on the bees and the garden every day and I really enjoy it. Today, as we checked on the the tomatoes, I realized how wonderfully fragrant the plants are. It's been a while since we kept a garden so I had forgotten about the scent. Very nice...I could feel my stress from the week melt off.

Made a trip to the library to pick up a novel for the plane ride. That reminds me I have been meaning to snap a photo of the library. I will do that soon. Now I am off to find some knitting to take with me before movie time. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Beautiful shot from the garden, Thien. Love the gardens for therapy, but most especially the vegetable garden. Have a wonderful weekend.

Love that little ladybug. And do you mean to tell us your tomato plants are already up and beginning to bear fruit? Sheesh! I'm quite jealous if that's the case!

The ladybug looks healthy so it is getting its meals locally. The color combination and texture differences is really a delight.

Thanks for the recent visit and nice words.

Your site is really interesting. I have added you to my "Check it Out - Favorites" Blog roll. Hope you will do the same.

I go through Seguin occasionally on our way to the valley or Corpus. We turn off at San Marcos. It's a nice drive and I don't like to drive the Freeway all of the way. We get to see more wildflowers and better photo ops.

Great shot. The ladybug is the best color against the green.

Great shot, for some reason i can't seem to capture insects in such good detail, what camera are you using?

Thank you so much everyone, for your comments. Yep, these are growing now. The weather's been simply awesome lately.

My digicam is a Kodak z612 and I use the macro/closeup setting for shots such as this one.

I don't like bugs...but I do like ladybird! The one in your photo looks really pretty in its polka-dot dress!
