HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This is my favorite post from 2007. I like it because a bluebonnet is so unique to Texas and I just love seeing them bloom each year I’ve lived here. Before I moved here, I never realized how beautiful a blue flower could be. Now the bluebonnet stops me every time I see it, whether it is a single bloom as it is here or in a field among thousands.
For our January 2008 Theme Day, there are 118 other city bloggers participating so be sure to take a little trip around the world!

ReplyDeleteYou really captured the true color of Texas bluebonnets in your wonderful shot. I have to agree with Eric that your runner up photo, with its contrasting yellow, and all those icicles is a great contrast. A very happy 2008 to you, with good health and many wonderful moments to treasure.

ReplyDeleteI look forward to visiting your blog more often this 2008. And you're welcome to mine, too! For some reason, my link was not included in the participating blogs for the 1st of January 2008 theme day. Sorry I wasn't able to visit your blog sooner. I was in transit the whole of yesterday. I am now back in Norwich after the most fantabulous time at home in Manila.
Happy New Year to you and everyone you hold dear!
