Here's what my office mate and I saw out our window while we sat on a conference call...that crane was so high up in the sky! Wow. And we couldn't imagine being the person in that cage. Yikes. We watched it descend. Too fast for our taste. And then later during a break, we had a slightly brighter, more mellow view. Thanks, J, for the lovely, tasty distraction!

Halloween Sweetness
Hope you all are enjoying your Halloween weekend so far. It's been a gorgeous day and tomorrow is suppose to be more of the same. It'll be good weather for trick or treaters so I hope we have plenty of visitors tomorrow evening.
This cake picture is one of my favorites and has about 3,700 views to date on my photostream in Flickr. People must find it as fun to look at as I have. It's fun to see how creativity people can be with their baking and decorating!

My Favorite Cake Artist
I know a young lady who bakes heavenly (to look at AND to eat) cakes on the side. We keep telling her we wish she'd open a little shop on the town square and just bake away. Maybe one day. She made two delicious cakes for Mark's retirement party and they were a hit.

Today, she asked me to take pictures for her as she set up her second wedding cake in town. Below are shots of the main cake and the groom's cake, which I thought looked really awesome!
