Look Up for Mistletoe
One of the things I love about Texas - abundant mistletoe. It just doesn't matter if it's 20 degrees outside or 100 degrees. If you look up, you will see mistletoe here in South Texas. I LOVE mistletoe because it always makes me think of the Christmas season and that's one of my favorite times of the year.
Hope you are all having a great Fourth of July weekend.

At least you can get fresh Mistletoe at Christmas.. as in 'pick your own.' Here in Seattle, we have to buy it. I remember as a kid, merchants used to give it away between Thanksgiving and Christmas... calendars too, what ever happened to those days??
I was just wondering where mistletoe grew ...a few week ago I was thinking about it-- I guessed FL.
Does it still have its effect in July?
Very true, Madge. I do like that I can get at the mistletoe anytime. :-)
Pix E. - it is everywhere here! I never knew that before I moved here.
Kris - It is effective just about year round. And sometimes, you simply have to drive under it, you don't have to even be standing underneath it. At least that's what I told Mark.
