San Geronimo Cemetery Angel

Angel

One last look at the angel. I liked this shot a lot and after I applied the nice effect, I thought I'd share it. I did this frame using Picnik on Flickr in case you want to try it also.

I'm back home now but beat. I think 5 days, 4 nights, 5 flights, 10 connections, 4 hotels, 2 vehicles, 2 work sites and 3 states later, I am just tired. However, it was a very successful work trip and I think it was all well worth the fatigue to meet such nice coworkers and to finally have faces to go with folks we conference-call with for months during a Kronos rollout project. Not to mention getting a chance to see some beautiful country I haven't seen before! I'm not complaining. :)

She is truly lovely. I don't know Flickr very well so Picnik is not familiar, but your photo is great whatever it did!

Not shot, how did you get level with it? It looks pretty tall. Oh, you should be tuckered out. KRONOS? Oh, thats a bad word.

This is a beautiful shot! Welcome home...just hearing of all those flights, etc., makes me tired!

Have you tried the new online Photoshop Express? Same as a lot of basic photo editing software packages, but one thing I like is the use of sliders (optional) on a lot of the settings like saturation, exposure etc. I put it in my "bag" for that hard to fix photo.

I love the angel. I was at an art show yesterday and saw a shot of and angel like this that had been superimposed on top of some clouds.
Cheesy but it worked.

My goodness, but you have some spectacular photos of the angel. Thanks for posting them.

I happy for you that your work trip went so well, that you feel successful, which ought to mean your tired will go away rather quickly.

Nice-- I like how you made the angle stand out sharply from the sky. She is beautiful, but this photo makes her look strong too.

What a great picture. I also love the one of the cemetary. Welcome home. I'm sure it was great to finally get home to rest and relax.

This is even better than the skywatch
image. It's so serene.

I forgot to write about how I shot the angel. She was really tall so I just backed way off and zoomed in a bit. Put my camera on something to keep it as steady as possible since I didn't have my tripod.
