Chicken Fajita Salad at El Ranchito

Chicken fajita salad

El Ranchito is a local favorite with many in town (and out of towners as well). It's located on Highway 123 and is a great place to get delicious chips and dip as well as other meals. This is my usual when I go. El Ranch does it best of all the Mex. food places we have been.

Yum! I used to live in Seguin and miss Tex-Mex as Mexican food isn't the same anywhere else I've lived. Try Su Casa for yummy homemade corn tortillas and wonderful carne guisada!!

Would love to have that if it were veggie chicken :D

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments. How is the weather where you are? Is it as blustery as it is here in Norwich?

Thanks, Alex. Can you tell I crave food since I can't enjoy it very much right now with some mouth issues.

Joy, El Ranch doesn't have veggie chicken but I know a great place in San Antonio (30 minutes away) that does!

Anonymous, I have heard good things about Su Casa and will try it and get a shot for you. I heard they have great caldo as well.

The only problem I have Mexican food or Tex Mex is the chips. I can't stop eating them and I usually end up full before the meal comes.

The chips are super yummy for sure. I just have to force myself to stop. Their salsa is awesome.

This place is NOT as good as it was years ago. They mass produce food, enchiladas are gross. Seguin has many mexican restaurant (mom/pop shops) that are MUCH better.

Yes there are several other great restaurants to visit in Seguin and depending on what you want, El Ranch can also do a great job. I love this salad and their King Ranch special on Fridays seem to be VERY popular.

El Ranchito is a "must stop" whenever we visit. We make sure to stock up on their hot sauce to bring back to Huntsville.

I love Tex-Mex food too! But over here in KL, we don't have that many choices.

Anybody have a good rendition of their enchilada sauce recipe to make @ home?
