More signs of spring

Pecan tree

Another gorgeous day and another sign of our spring. The pecan trees are starting to put out their leaves and these catkins (I believe that's what these are called). After work, we went outside to water the garden, watch the hawks soaring way up high in the big, clear, blue sky and, of course, to collect pollen from the hive. It's a nice way to wind down from a busy day. I wish this weather would stay for a long while.

Our pecan trees are finally getting some green on them. They are always the last ones in the neighborhood.

That is a bold, blue sky in
your beautiful photo, Thien. Yes, bring on those pecans.

Nice vivid colors! Our trees are just starting to get buds and the plum trees already have little flowers. I love spring!
