Garden Update - Week 8

Finally! Some progress.

Our tomato plant finally showed progress this week! I got home from the trip and Mark told me to take a look at the plants and I was treated to this shot. It was really exciting! The cucumbers are also coming along and I eagerly await my cucumber/tomato salad.

I'm in Columbia, SC again this week so I'll try and post when I can. I anticipate long days during our training.

Every year I say I am going to plant something that we can eat, and every year I dont do it. After watching the progress of yours, I have to get out and try it next year.

I'm jealous, Thien (of the tomatoes, not the trip to SC!) We're still getting tomatoes from Florida. Sigh.

It's really fun to try gardening again Jim; we haven't done one in several years.

Brian, is it tomatoes? I'm not sure now!! LOL. Yummy with some salt.

Chris, if you swing by Texas, we'll have you over for some! :)

Nothing tastes better than you own home-grown produce.

I grew my own snow peas once but they never got inside the house i would eat them off the bush!!!

I’ve been amazed that our cherry tomatoes are still growing well into Autumn here. There hasn’t been a frost though yet, and I expect that will finish them off!

There toms look excellent though, very tatsy!
