Sky Watch Friday

Sunset at Auxiliary Airfield

This is my Sky Watch photo for Friday. Check out other cool skies at Wiggers World.

A friend at work reminded me of the Auxiliary Airfield area out on Highway 90A so Mark and I took a drive out there. Looks like the sun has set on gas prices like this for a while, if not forever.

The sun also set on my Spurs so that just means I'll probably now have more time for visiting blogs I enjoy. :) There's always next season!

Here's the field to the left of the sign I photographed. It's really nice out there with all the open space.

Great shots these are; those prizes ... when will they come back?

Our price for gasoline is approaching $4.00 a US Gallon. In some places overseas a gallon is over $8.00 so we are still lucky.

I like the bottom photo a lot. Those clouds are special.

Nice shots! Beautiful sky colors and lovely distant clouds. Wide open spaces indeed.

Nice way to tie in the sunset and the long gone gas price.
